How does online shopping with curbside & In-store pickup function?

  • Select "Pickup" during the checkout process (In-store Pickup can also select "Pickup")
  • We'll email (or text) you when your order is ready for pickup.
  • Show up anytime during our regular store hours, listed above
  •  If you want contact-less delivery/pickup, call the store when you arrive, and tell us your order #.
  • An associate will bring out your items as discussed via phone. Please be prepared to show your Order Confirmation or a photo ID, if asked.
  • If you want to pick-up inside, just walk in!

    I received a message that says my order was shipped, even though I selected Curbside/In-store pickup. Does that mean my order is ready for pickup?

    Yes. Since the Shopify software was not originally designed with curbside pickup in mind, some of the default SMS replies may be worded slightly incorrectly until programmers are able to adjust it. (This is subject to change daily)

    After I complete my order, how long before it is ready?

    Order processing times vary widely, but we are generally able to get most orders ready the same day or next business day. Keep an eye out for our email/SMS updates regarding your order, which are sent when your order has been assembled. Check your spam folder if you don't get an email within 2 minutes of your payment completion.

    Is your store open? Are you buying items / accepting drop-offs?

    Our online store is open, and our physical store is open with reduced hours. We have also re-started our buying process, but with many changes. Some changes include a 1-bin maximum and appointments are required. Book your appointment on our facebook page or by calling the store.     When will you add more items to the site in my child's size, including toys and other necessities?

    We add new merchandise, in many sizes, to the site every day. 

    Please be patient as we build up the inventory levels, it is a labour intensive process to photograph and transcribe so many unique items. Please check back regularly, and we truly thank you for your patience and you support!

    Can I use my store credit to pay for my online purchase?

    The online shopify site does not have the capability to allow the use of store credit as a payment type. BUT, if you call the store (check our 'Hours' link), we may be able to gather some items for you and arrange for the payment using store credit.

    Can I use my fully stamped loyalty rewards card to redeem 20% off my online purchase?

    The online shopify site does not have the capability to allow the redemption of our loyalty rewards, so please save them to use in-store. You will still earn stamps on a new card with your online purchase!

    Why haven't I received a notification of my order if I've checked out and paid for my online order?

    Check your spam folder (or 'promotions' folder in gmail)! Upon checking out you should receive an order confirmation email (or text) within minutes. If you do not, be sure to check your spam folder and mark the sender as a "safe-sender" to ensure you receive our 'Order Ready for Pickup' notification!

    Can I combine multiple orders to be picked up at one time?

    Yes, we are automatically notified of multiple purchases. You do not need to do anything. Simply wait until you have received the 'Order Ready for Pickup' of your LAST order, and when you arrive you will receive them all at once.

    Does The Kids Shoppe sell new or gently-used items? And how can I tell the difference?

    Both! The Kids Shoppe is proud to have an abundant supply of new retail items to fill out the majority of parents needs beyond just gently-used clothing.  You can quickly identify new vs gently-used by our price points; items ending with $x.98 are new vendor items while $x.99 are items purchased from local families, whether gently-used or new-with-tag.
